Norbit is a 2007 comedy directed by Brian Robbins and written by Charlie Murphy, Eddie Murphy, and Jay Scherick. Eddie Murphy stars in multiple roles, including the title character, a meek man raised by Mr. Wong at a Chinese restaurant orphanage after being abandoned as a baby. When Norbit finds himself trapped in a marriage to the aggressive and domineering Rasputia, played by Murphy as well, his life takes a turn for the better when his childhood sweetheart Kate, portrayed by Thandie Newton, returns to town. Norbit hatches a plan to escape his unhappy situation and prove that kindness can lead to happiness. Cuba Gooding Jr. and Terry Crews round out the cast in this romantic comedy.

This widescreen DVD from Paramount Pictures runs 82 minutes and carries an R rating. The single-disc release gives you a chance to own this comedy without spending full retail price on a used copy.
