George and Ira Gershwin’s musical “Nice Work If You Can Get It” opened on Broadway in 2012, featuring a book by Joe DiPietro and direction and choreography by Kathleen Marshall. The cast includes Matthew Broderick and Kelli O’Hara in a 1920s-set story involving bootleggers, chorus girls, playboys, and politicians converging at a lavish Long Island mansion. Tony Award winners Judy Kaye and Michael McGrath round out the ensemble in this song-and-dance production built around the Gershwins’ most recognizable compositions.

This is the original Broadway cast recording released by Shout Factory on CD, featuring the overture, “Sweet and Lowdown,” “Someone to Watch Over Me,” the title track with its reprise, “Demon Rum,” “Delishious,” and other musical numbers and scene changes from the show.
