NCIS is a crime drama that debuted on CBS in 2004, created by Donald P. Bellisario as a spin-off from the series JAG. The show follows Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon), a no-nonsense investigator leading an elite team of NCIS agents who handle cases involving Navy and Marine Corps personnel. Alongside Gibbs are medical examiner Dr. Donald Mallard (David McCallum), former homicide detective Anthony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly), forensics expert Abby Sciuto (Pauley Perrette), and Secret Service veteran Caitlin Todd (Sasha Alexander). Together, this eclectic squad combines military intrigue with procedural investigation to solve crimes, blending sharp detective work with the quirky personalities that define the team.

This first season arrives on six DVDs containing all 23 episodes with a total runtime of 16 hours and 49 minutes, rated TV-PG.
