Steven Spielberg directs this 2002 science fiction thriller based on Philip K. Dick’s short story about a future where crime prevention has become an exact science. Tom Cruise plays John Anderton, a detective working for Precrime, a Washington D.C. police unit that arrests murderers before they commit their crimes, using visions from three psychics known as precogs. When Anderton himself is identified as a future killer of someone he has never met, he becomes a fugitive from the very system he helped build, forced to go on the run and uncover the truth behind the accusation. Alongside Colin Farrell, Max von Sydow, and Samantha Morton, Cruise navigates a world of advanced technology as he kidnaps one of the precogs to investigate whether he has been framed from within his own department.

This two-disc DVD release runs two hours and twenty-five minutes and carries a PG-13 rating from Twentieth Century Fox. A used copy gives you access to this futuristic thriller at a fraction of retail cost.
