Daredevil is a 2003 action thriller directed by Mark Steven Johnson that brings Marvel Comics’ blind vigilante to the screen. Ben Affleck stars as Matt Murdock, a lawyer in New York City who lost his father to gangsters as a child. Driven by that tragedy, Murdock uses his heightened senses to fight crime in Hell’s Kitchen and takes on cases other attorneys refuse, seeking justice for those the system has failed.
