Masters of the Universe is a 1987 live-action science fiction fantasy film directed by Gary Goddard and based on the popular toy line. Dolph Lundgren stars as He-Man, the mightiest warrior of Eternia, who must confront the dark sorcerer Skeletor, played by Frank Langella. When Skeletor captures Castle Grayskull and imprisons the Sorceress, He-Man teams with allies including the warrior Teela and the resourceful dwarf Gwildor to stop the villain’s quest for a cosmic key that would grant him godlike power across the galaxy. The battle between good and evil unfolds on Earth as the fate of the universe hangs in the balance.
