The Marine is a 2006 action thriller directed by John Bonito and starring WWE champion John Cena as a recently discharged soldier who becomes an unlikely action hero. After returning from Iraq, Cena’s character John Triton finds his wife Kate, played by Kelly Carlson, kidnapped by a ruthless group of diamond thieves led by the menacing Robert Patrick. With no regard for conventional tactics, Triton pursues the criminals through the South Carolina wilderness, relying on his military training and determination to rescue her from the hands of these merciless criminals.
