Mannix is a 1968 crime drama series created by Bruce Geller that follows Joe Mannix, a tough private investigator played by Mike Connors. Initially working for Intertect, a high-tech detective agency run by the no-nonsense Lou Wickersham (Joseph Campanella), Mannix takes a hands-on approach to his cases that often puts him at odds with his employers. As the series progresses, he strikes out on his own, opening his own detective shop where he encounters danger and intrigue while pursuing leads and confronting suspects. The show features guest appearances from notable actors and showcases the chemistry between Connors and Campanella, as well as secretary Peggy Fair, played by Emmy winner Gail Fisher.

This first season arrives on six DVDs with a total runtime of approximately 20 hours and 48 minutes, presented with a TV-PG rating from CBS.
