Major Payne is a 1995 comedy directed by Nick Castle and starring Damon Wayans as the title character, a retired Marine from Special Forces who finds himself unemployed after peace breaks out. Unable to adjust to civilian life, Payne is assigned to command the JROTC program at Madison Academy, a unit filled with teenage misfits who need serious discipline. As this hardened military officer attempts to transform his ragtag recruits into a functional squad, he clashes with the school counselor Dr. Emily Walburn, played by Karyn Parsons, in this fish-out-of-water comedy that balances military rigor with teenage chaos.

This single-disc DVD release runs 95 minutes and carries a PG-13 rating from Universal Pictures. The package includes production notes, cast and filmmaker information, and the theatrical trailer. Grab this used copy and enjoy a comedy that delivers more entertainment than you might expect.
