Maigret is a French television series from 1991 adapting Georges Simenon’s celebrated detective novels. Bruno Cremer stars as Inspector Jules Maigret, the methodical Parisian investigator who unravels crimes with quiet determination and his signature pipe. Set against the backdrop of 1950s Paris and the French countryside, each episode follows Maigret as he peels back the surface of seemingly peaceful communities to expose the criminals operating across all levels of society. Directed by Alain Tasma, Bertrand Van Effenterre, and Claude Goretta, the series captures the pragmatic, refined approach of one of fiction’s most compelling detectives.

Set 1 is a 6-disc DVD collection featuring approximately five hours and fifty-five minutes of content, presented in French with English subtitles and rated not rated. The cast includes Michael Lonsdale and Serge Beauvois alongside Cremer. Own this definitive adaptation of Simenon’s crime classics on physical media at a used price.
