Willy DeVille, founder and principal songwriter of the influential band Mink DeVille, brings his acoustic trio to Berlin for this 2002 live recording. Joined by David J. Keyes and Seth Farber, DeVille performs blues and rock standards alongside original compositions, including his Oscar-nominated “Storybook Love” from The Princess Bride. The set draws from classic material like “Spanish Harlem” and “Trouble In Mind,” arranged for intimate acoustic performance and showcasing the stripped-down artistry that defined DeVille’s solo career following his work with Mink DeVille.

This two-disc CD was released by Eagle Rock Entertainment and captures the Acoustic Trio’s March 2002 Berlin concert, with disc two featuring bonus tracks from the still-active Mink DeVille band recorded in Stockholm. A used copy gives you access to this live performance at a fraction of the original retail cost.
