Left Behind: World at War is a 2005 science-fiction thriller set in a world transformed after hundreds of millions of people vanish without explanation. As global chaos spreads, U.S. President Gerald Fitzhugh, played by Lou Gossett Jr., faces mounting pressure from U.N. Secretary General Nicolae Carpathia, portrayed by Gordon Currie, who seeks to unite the world under a new, religion-free order. With the country vulnerable to invasion, Fitzhugh turns to an underground resistance group called the Tribulation Force, who recognize Carpathia’s true nature and fight to protect humanity. Directed by Craig R. Baxley, the film also features Arnold Pinnock, Brad Johnson, Charles Martin Smith, Chelsea Noble, and Janaya Stephens.
