Left Behind is a 2014 science fiction thriller directed by Vic Armstrong and based on the novel by Tim LaHaye and Paul Lalonde. When millions of people suddenly vanish from Earth, a pilot and the remaining passengers aboard his aircraft must contend with a world transformed by catastrophe. Stranded at high altitude with a damaged plane, they face the dual challenge of landing safely while confronting the spiritual and practical implications of the vanishing. The film stars Cassi Thomson, Chad Michael Murray, Jordin Sparks, Lea Thompson, and Nicky Whelan as survivors trying to make sense of an unprecedented global event.
