It’s About Time is the 1994 solo debut from Greg Chaisson, bassist for Badlands. Chaisson returns to his blues-rock roots on this twelve-track album, backed by drummer Eric Singer and guitarist Jim McMellen in a power trio setup. The record channels the heavy, guitar-driven blues-rock sound of 1970s legends, with Chaisson handling lead vocals alongside his bass work on tracks like “Too Late To Pray,” “My Dark Ride,” and “I’ll Always Love You (For Jennifer).” Recorded with a live-in-the-studio approach, the album captures an authentic, raw energy while maintaining polished production.

This CD was released on the Intense label and runs approximately 45 minutes across its twelve songs. The album delivers straightforward blues-rock riffage with a vintage power trio feel, paying homage to classic acts in the genre. Grab this used copy and own a piece of solid blues-rock history from the early 1990s.
