This 1988 animated collection brings together six stories centered on puppies and their adventures. The set includes the classic tale of Harry the Dirty Dog, who runs away before bath time and returns so muddy that his family cannot recognize him, plus No Roses for Harry, where Harry tries to lose an unwanted sweater throughout town. Officer Buckle and Gloria, narrated by John Lithgow, follows a safety officer whose tips finally get attention when paired with a clever police dog. Dot the Fire Dog teaches fire safety through a station dog’s daily duties, while bonus stories include May’s quest to convince her parents to get her a dog and a live-action adventure of Angus, a curious Scottish terrier who escapes his yard.

Released by New Video on a single DVD, this not-rated program is designed for preschool and early elementary viewers. You can own this used collection at a savings compared to buying it new.
