Grace Unplugged is a 2013 drama directed by Brad J. Silverman about an eighteen-year-old singer named Grace Trey who dreams of becoming a pop star. Her father, a former pop musician turned worship leader at their church, disapproves of her ambitions. With help from her dad’s old manager, Grace leaves for Los Angeles to pursue her musical dreams. As she climbs toward stardom, she faces mounting pressure to compromise her values, and her relationship with her parents deteriorates. The film explores what happens when Grace must choose between the success she’s chased and the faith and family she’s left behind.
