George A. Romero directed this 2009 horror film about a group of rogue soldiers who seek refuge on Plum Island during a zombie apocalypse. They encounter Patrick O’Flynn, a man banished from the island where his family is locked in a bitter conflict with the rival Muldoon clan. The O’Flynns view the undead as threats to be eliminated, while the Muldoons refuse to kill their zombie relatives, hoping instead to find a scientific cure for the plague. As tensions between the families escalate, Crocket and his crew discover that the living pose far greater dangers than the flesh-eating dead. The film stars Alan Van Sprang, Kenneth Welsh, Kathleen Munroe, and Joshua Peace.
