George A. Romero's Diary of the Dead

Movie / Show Details

George A. Romero directed this 2007 horror film following a group of college filmmakers shooting a low-budget movie in the Pennsylvania woods when they learn that the dead have begun rising. Led by Jason Creed and his girlfriend Debra, the young crew flees in an old Winnebago, attempting to reach safety at home, but discover there is no escape from the spreading plague of the living dead. As Jason obsessively documents their journey in first-person style, the group faces constant attacks from ravenous corpses at every turn, while government responses fail and communication with the outside world breaks down, leaving them increasingly isolated and vulnerable.
