Foyle’s War returns for its sixth season in 2010 with three new mysteries set in the aftermath of World War II. Michael Kitchen stars as Detective Chief Inspector Christopher Foyle, a seasoned investigator in the British coastal town of Hastings who finds his retirement plans derailed by complex cases involving international intrigue and moral ambiguity. Alongside his trusted driver from the Women’s Royal Army Corps, played by Honeysuckle Weeks, and his colleague Anthony Howell, Foyle navigates crimes ranging from the escape of a Russian prisoner of war to racial tensions among American servicemen awaiting deployment home, and the puzzling case of an accused traitor unwilling to mount a defense.
