Supported by her mother, sister, and a sympathetic young teacher, Elina struggles against the prejudice directed at her Finnish-speaking family. The film stars Bibi Andersson, Björn Granath, Carolina Berggren, Henrik Rafaelsen, Jarl Lindblad, and Marjaana Maijala.
