Easter Parade is a 1948 MGM musical romance starring Fred Astaire and Judy Garland. Set in 1911 New York, the film follows a Broadway dancer who, after his longtime partner leaves to pursue a solo career, makes a bold wager that he can transform any chorus girl into a star. He selects Hannah Brown, an inexperienced performer, determined to prove his worth and reclaim his former partner’s attention by Easter. This marked the only collaboration between these two legendary entertainers.

This two-disc special edition DVD release features the complete film with a runtime of approximately 103 minutes, rated not rated. The restoration captures Irving Berlin’s score of standards including “Steppin’ Out with My Baby” and “Better Luck Next Time,” showcasing both Astaire’s dynamic dance sequences and Garland’s powerful vocals. Owning this used copy lets you experience a classic Hollywood musical at a fraction of retail cost.
