Gene Kelly and Stanley Donen reunited for this 1955 musical comedy-drama about three World War II soldiers who vow to stay close friends forever. A decade after the war ends, the trio reconnects only to discover how much their lives have changed and how little they now have in common. Starring Gene Kelly, Dan Dailey, and Michael Kidd as the former GIs, the film also features Cyd Charisse as a television producer and Dolores Gray as a TV host. As the three men confront the gap between their youthful dreams and their current reality, they must grapple with whether their friendship can withstand the test of time and diverging paths.
