Fred Astaire and Judy Garland star in this 1948 musical romance directed by Charles Walters. Set in 1911 New York, the film follows a Broadway choreographer who, after his dance partner abandons him, accepts a wager to transform an unknown chorus girl into a star by Easter. He selects Hannah Brown, an inexperienced performer with raw talent, and sets out to mold her into a headliner through a series of elaborate musical numbers. The cast also includes Ann Miller, Peter Lawford, Jules Munshin, and Clinton Sundberg.

This single-disc DVD presents the film in its original 103-minute runtime with an Approved rating from MGM. Irving Berlin composed 17 songs for the production, creating some of the most memorable musical sequences ever captured on screen. Owning this used copy lets you enjoy a classic Hollywood musical at a fraction of the cost of a new release.
