East of Eden is a 2008 Korean television drama following two men whose lives become intertwined from birth. Lee Dong Chul witnesses his father’s murder as a child and vows to seek revenge against the man responsible, Shin Tae Hwan. His younger brother Dong Wook grows up to become a prosecutor and pledges to help his brother achieve this goal. However, a secret switches their fates: the brothers were unknowingly swapped at birth, meaning Dong Chul’s true brother was raised by his enemy while the man he loves is actually Tae Hwan’s son. As the brothers pursue their separate paths through casinos and the law, the revelation of this deception threatens to unravel everything they have built together.
