The Flamingos were among the most celebrated doo-wop groups of the 1950s, and this 2010 compilation gathers their recordings from 1953 through 1959. The collection brings together both sides of their classic 78 and 45 releases, including major US hits like “Golden Teardrops” and “I’ll Be Home,” plus standout tracks such as “Some Day Someway,” “If I Can’t Have You,” and “That’s My Desire.” Their 1959 recording “I Only Have Eyes For You” became so iconic that Art Garfunkel’s 1975 cover, which mirrored the arrangement note for note, reached number one on the UK charts.

Released on Jasmine Music, this two-disc set contains 50 remastered tracks that showcase the group’s enduring artistry and influence. Owning this used copy lets you experience a defining era of doo-wop history at a fraction of retail cost.
