Decemberunderground is the seventh studio album from AFI, released in 2006. Frontman Davey Havok and the band crafted this record with meticulous attention to detail, spending considerable time on every element from guitar work to vocals to bass lines. The album explores themes of isolation, detachment, and finding connection in darkness, creating a sonic landscape that defies easy categorization. Opening with the rhythm-driven “Prelude 12/21,” the record moves through diverse territory, including the glam-influenced first single “Miss Murder,” the atmospheric “Love Like Winter,” and the expansive instrumental piece “The Interview.”

This CD contains eleven tracks spanning over forty minutes of rock music from the California band. Notable songs include “Kill Caustic,” “Summer Shudder,” “Affliction,” “The Missing Frame,” “Kiss And Control,” and “The Killing Lights.” A used copy of Decemberunderground gives you access to AFI’s ambitious seventh effort at a fraction of retail cost.
