The Dance

CD Details

Fleetwood Mac reunited in 1997 to commemorate the twentieth anniversary of their landmark album Rumours. The classic lineup of Lindsey Buckingham, Mick Fleetwood, Christine McVie, John McVie, and Stevie Nicks came together for an MTV special, a national tour, and this live album. Recorded during three intimate performances on a Hollywood soundstage, The Dance captures the band performing beloved material from their seventies and eighties era alongside several new compositions, with the group’s energy and passion evident throughout.

This CD features reimagined versions of Fleetwood Mac classics including “The Chain,” “Dreams,” “Rhiannon,” “Landslide,” and “Say You Love Me,” along with new songs such as “Temporary One” and “Bleed to Love Her.” Standout moments include Lindsey Buckingham’s intense solo performance of “Big Love” and Stevie Nicks’ powerful rendition of “Silver Springs.” The album was released by Reprise Records and has been certified five times platinum by the RIAA.
