Kevin Kline stars as Porter, with Ashley Judd playing Linda, as the film traces their glamorous and unconventional journey from Paris through Venice, Broadway, and Hollywood. Though Cole’s restless pursuit of experience tested their marriage, Linda remained his creative inspiration, fueling the composition of some of the twentieth century’s most celebrated songs.
