De-Lovely is a 2004 musical biography directed by Irwin Winkler that chronicles the life of legendary composer Cole Porter and his wife Linda Lee Thomas. Kevin Kline stars as Porter, with Ashley Judd playing Linda, as the film traces their glamorous and unconventional relationship across Paris, Venice, Broadway, and Hollywood. Though Cole’s restless pursuit of experience tested their marriage, Linda remained his creative inspiration, fueling the composition of some of the twentieth century’s most memorable songs.
