Criss Cross is a 1949 crime thriller from Universal Pictures directed by Robert Siodmak. Burt Lancaster plays an armored-car driver whose rekindled romance with his ex-wife, Ann (Yvonne De Carlo), puts him in danger when her current husband, gangster Slim Dundee (Dan Duryea), discovers their affair. To escape the situation, Lancaster’s character convinces Dundee that he wants to help plan a robbery of an armored shipment. What begins as a desperate lie spirals into a web of deception, greed, and violence as the scheme sets off a chain of dark events.

This single-disc DVD release runs 84 minutes and carries a US Approved rating. Siodmak’s moody direction and the film’s stylish black-and-white cinematography define this classic noir, supported by strong performances from Lancaster, De Carlo, Duryea, Richard Long, and Stephen McNally.
