Count Backwards from 10 is a 2004 electronic pop rock album by Strawpeople, featuring producer Paul Casserly’s signature blend of moody electro-pop. The record brings together an ensemble of songwriters, vocalists, and musicians including Fiona McDonald, Pearl Runga, Boh Runga, Leza Corban, and Jordan Reyne to craft atmospheric tracks that pair lush vocals with sleek electronic production. Songs like “Driving Around,” “No One Like You,” and “The Andy Warhol Effect” showcase the downtempo sensibility that defines the album’s sound.
