Nia Vardalos, who wrote and stars in this 2004 comedy, plays one half of a best-friend duo alongside Toni Collette. After witnessing a mafia hit in Chicago, the two women flee to Los Angeles and devise an unconventional plan to stay hidden: they go undercover as drag queens performing in the dinner theater circuit. With David Duchovny and Debbie Reynolds also in the cast, this PG-13 film follows Connie and Carla as they pursue the show business success that has eluded them, all while evading the criminals on their trail.

Universal Pictures released this comedy on a single DVD with a runtime of 98 minutes.
