When Maggie grieves the loss of a patient, Seth reveals himself to her despite the rule that angels remain invisible to humans. As their connection deepens, Seth faces an impossible choice between his eternal existence and the chance to become mortal and live a life with Maggie. The supporting cast includes Andre Braugher, Dennis Franz, Colm Feore, and others in this earnest exploration of love and sacrifice.
