CB4 is a 1993 comedy mockumentary starring Chris Rock as MC Gusto, leader of a rap group of the same name alongside Stab Master Arson and Dead Mik. The film follows three middle-class friends who fabricate personas as ex-convicts to break into the gangsta rap scene, only to find their carefully constructed image unraveling when a documentary filmmaker and a political operative expose their true identities. Packed with cameos from hip-hop legends and celebrity guest appearances, the movie parodies both rap culture and documentary conventions with absurdist humor.
