Dave Matthews Band released Busted Stuff in 2002 as an alternative rock album on Legacy Recordings. The record emerged from material originally recorded with a producer the band ultimately rejected, which had circulated unofficially before this official release. Rather than abandon the songs, Matthews and his bandmates returned to the studio to reimagine them with renewed focus. The album features introspective compositions including Grey Street, Where Are You Going, Captain, Grace Is Gone, and Digging a Ditch, showcasing the group’s layered instrumentation and thoughtful songwriting while maintaining tighter arrangements than their typical extended jazz-rock explorations.

This CD contains ten tracks spanning over 47 minutes of material that balances melancholy with moments of transcendence. The album demonstrates the band’s ability to craft intimate, nuanced rock songs with careful production and emotional depth. You can add this used copy to your collection at a fraction of retail cost.
