In Branded, Chuck Connors plays the part of Captain Jason McCord, West Point graduate and decorated cavalry officer. As the sole survivor of the battle with the Apache Indians at Bitter Creek, he is court-martialed and stripped of his rank. Branded a coward, he wanders the west seeking justice for himself and others in need.

Includes 3 episodes:

Survival: In the middle of the desert, Jason McCord comes to the aid of a man near death. But the man leaves him to die and he is only saved when an Indian helps him. Catching up with the man and his family, Jason must choose between revenge or forgiveness.

The Vindicator: A newspaper reporter looking for a story finds a widow with some letters that could clear Jason McCord’s name. Both Jason and Mrs. Pritchard must make hard choices about the truth.

The Mission: In this three-part story, Jason returns to Washington D.C. and is recruited for a dangerous mission by President Grant. To avert a possible war with Mexico, he infiltrates a gang of bandits led by a renegade general. Trying to trap the bandits during a raid at an Army fort, Jason is recognized as the coward of Bitter Creek and is arrested. Sentenced to be shot at dawn, he must find a way to turn the tables on the bandits and the Army to stop the war.
