Born to Ride follows professional saddle bronc rider Cody Wright during his pursuit of the 2008 world championship. At 31 years old and a father of four, Wright had reached the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo five times before, only to see the title slip away each time. Now he faces his ultimate challenge: competing against Billy Etbauer, the 45-year-old legend he has idolized since childhood and one of the greatest bronc riders in history. Raised in southwestern Utah with an innate connection to horses, Wright has climbed to the elite ranks of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association. Directors Jon Smith and Lyman Hafen chronicle both his early years in the saddle and his intense head-to-head battle for the championship, featuring appearances by Wilford Brimley.

This 2009 documentary arrives on a single DVD with a runtime of 60 minutes. Own this sports biography on physical media at a used price.
