This fun and fascinating DVD shows how produce from the farm is turned into food and other products that we use every day!

CRISPS: See the potatoes being harvested and then taken the factory to be made into delicious crisps. Along the way we learn about the history of this popular snack.

MILK AND CHEESE: See the cows being milked before the milk is taken to the dairy to pasteurised, homogenised and then packed into bottles. Some of the milk is sent to another dairy where we watch how it is turned into cheddar cheese.

FLOUR: See how wheat was harvested in olden days using an old-fashioned reaper-binder and threshing machine before being taken to a watermill to be milled. Then see how wheat is harvested on a modern farm before being taken to the huge modern mill.

BREAD: See how wheat is planted, grown and harvested using some of the biggest farm machines in the UK! Visit one of the country’s biggest bakeries where hundreds of thousands of loaves are baked every day!

WOOL: See sheep being shorn before their wool is spun using an old-fashined spinning wheel. Next we visit a modern mill where the wool goes through an array of steamy, smelly processes before being spun and dyed ready for use.
