Basses Loaded is a 1996 jazz-rock album led by bassist Tom Kennedy, who has collaborated with artists including Simon Phillips, David Sanborn, Jeff Lorber, and Joe Sample. The recording features Kennedy on acoustic and electric basses and keyboards, joined by drummer Dave Weckl and pianist Tania Maria, both frequent collaborators who appear as guests. Keith Fiddmont contributes saxophone work, Ray Kennedy handles acoustic piano and keyboards, and Sammy Figueroa adds percussion throughout the session.

This single-disc CD was released on the Dave Weckl Studio and Mayking labels. You can own this reissue of a 1996 recording at a used price that beats buying new.
