Georg Friedrich Händel composed his Water Music in the early 18th century, and this 1990 recording features conductor Bela Banfalvi leading the Budapest Strings through all three suites. The work is a collection of instrumental movements originally written for outdoor performance, showcasing Baroque elegance through its various dance forms and lyrical passages.

This single CD contains the complete Water Music suites, including Suite No. 1 in F with its famous Hornpipe, Air, and Minuet movements alongside overtures and other characteristic pieces from the Baroque era.
