Baby Neptune: Discovering Water is a 2003 educational film from the Baby Einstein series designed for infants and toddlers. Directed by Jim Janicek and written by Janicek and Len Marino, this program takes young viewers on a musical exploration of water in all its forms. Guided by puppet characters including an octopus and duck, babies and toddlers journey from bathtubs to beaches, encountering rain, puddles, rivers, lakes, and oceans. The film features real footage of whales, dolphins, sea turtles, fish, and other aquatic animals, all set to classical compositions by Handel, Telemann, Beethoven, and Johann Strauss.
