April Fools is a 2007 horror thriller directed by Nancy Norman. Set in inner city Chicago, the film follows a group of teens who orchestrate a cruel April Fools prank on Melvin, a classmate they target for humiliation. When the joke spirals tragically out of control and results in Melvin’s death, the group-including DeAnna, Missy, Malik, Eva, Scoop, and Diego-makes a pact to keep silent and frame the incident as a gang shooting. One year later, on April Fools Day, the teens begin dying one by one at the hands of a mysterious hooded killer seeking revenge. Detective Combs and his partner Detective Ward race against time to uncover the killer’s identity and stop the murders before Missy becomes the final victim.
