In this 2007 sci-fi horror thriller directed by Francis Lawrence, Will Smith stars as Robert Neville, a brilliant scientist and the last human alive in post-apocalyptic New York City. A man-made virus has decimated humanity, but Neville’s immunity offers a glimmer of hope. For three years he has broadcast daily radio messages seeking other survivors while conducting research to reverse the plague’s effects using his own blood.
