All Dogs Go to Heaven is a 1989 animated adventure-comedy directed by Don Bluth and Gary Goldman. The film follows Charlie, a charming German Shepherd and casino owner living in 1939 New Orleans, who is betrayed and murdered by his rival Carface. After sneaking back from Heaven seeking revenge, Charlie reunites with his old partner Itchy and becomes the unlikely guardian of Anne-Marie, a young orphan girl with the remarkable ability to communicate with animals. Together they embark on an adventure filled with thrills, humor, and heartfelt moments as Charlie discovers there is more to life than revenge.
