Ai No Kusabi: The Space Between is a 2012 Japanese anime series directed by Katsuhito Akiyama. Set on a future planet governed by a supercomputer, society is stratified by hair color, with blonde-haired elites holding power over darker-haired individuals called mongrels. When Iason, a high-ranking elite, decides to take a mongrel named Riki as his personal pet, their relationship defies social conventions and draws scrutiny from those around them. The series explores the complex bond that develops between them and the unforeseen repercussions of their connection. The English voice cast includes Chuck Huber, Todd Haberkorn, and Toru Ohkawa.
