LEGO Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu – Rebooted is an animated series that debuted in 2012, following young ninja warriors as they train to master the martial art of Spinjitzu and protect their world from evil. Season 3, Part 1 picks up after the Ninja’s victory over the Overlord, a time when peace and technological advancement have made the warriors seem unnecessary. When a mysterious inventor named Cyrus Borg alerts them that the Overlord has survived as a digital virus trapped in the Digiverse, the Ninja are called back into service. The villain plots to steal Lloyd’s golden power so he can escape his digital prison and become the prophesied “Golden Master,” with help from his new creations, the powerful Nindroids.
