Zero Motivation is a 2014 Israeli dark comedy directed by Talya Lavie in her feature debut. The film follows a unit of young female soldiers stationed at a remote desert base, where bureaucratic duties and idle time dominate their days. Best friends Zohar and Daffi work in the Human Resources Office, spending shifts playing video games and dreaming of civilian life, while their superior officer Rama struggles to maintain authority and advance her military career over a platoon with little motivation. The ensemble cast includes Dana Ivgy, Nelly Tagar, Shani Klein, Elad Smama, Heli Twito, Meytal Gal, and others in a character-driven portrait of military routine and ennui that shifts fluidly between slapstick humor, satire, and darker moments.

This single-disc DVD from Zeitgeist Films runs 97 minutes and carries an IMDb rating of 7.2. A sharp and often hilarious look at everyday life in a remote outpost, the film won the Best Narrative Feature Award at the Tribeca Film Festival.
