Angel Du$t released Yak: A Collection of Truck Songs in 2021, a rock album produced by Rob Schnapf, who has worked with Kurt Vile and Elliott Smith. Following their 2019 LP Pretty Buff, the band embraced an unpredictable approach, blending diverse percussion, guitar textures, effects, and genre influences into twelve tracks that function more like a curated playlist than a traditional album. The songs range from jangle-rock (“Big Bite”) to piano-driven power pop (“No Fun”), and include a duet with Tim Armstrong of Rancid on “Dancing On The Radio.” Several tracks like “Love Is The Greatest,” “All The Way Dumb,” and “Never Ending Game” had previously appeared on the band’s 2021 EP Bigger House.

This CD contains all twelve songs recorded in Los Angeles, with a total runtime of approximately 34 minutes. You can own this physical copy at a fraction of retail cost.
