Leslie Nielsen stars in this 1998 comedy thriller directed by Pat Proft, who made his feature directorial debut after writing for The Naked Gun series and Hot Shots.. Nielsen plays Ryan Harrison, a famous violinist who is wrongly convicted of murder and sentenced to death. When he escapes during a transfer to his execution, he must evade authorities while hunting for the actual killer. The film is packed with parodies and references to other movies, from The Fugitive to Casablanca, Mission: Impossible, and Braveheart, delivering sight gags and wordplay throughout. The cast includes Kelly LeBrock, Michael York, Richard Crenna, and Melinda McGraw.
