Worst Week is a 2008 comedy series about Sam, a young man engaged to Melanie and expecting a baby, who faces an uphill battle winning over her parents. Dick, a stern judge, and Angela, an overprotective mother, are cautiously open to accepting Sam into the family, but every gathering between them descends into absolute chaos. As Sam repeatedly attempts to make a good impression with Melanie’s support, the disasters only escalate in absurdity, yet he refuses to give up his quest to earn their approval. The show stars Kyle Bornheimer and Erinn Hayes as the couple, alongside Kurtwood Smith and Nancy Lenehan as the parents, with direction from Adam Bernstein, Michael Lehmann, and Michael Spiller.
